It’s a decent performer in the city, offering smooth, predictable power delivery that makes traffic navigation effortless. While not explosive, it provides enough grunt for overtakes at low speeds without stressing the engine. In terms of fuel efficiency, expect 9-11 km/l in city driving with this base motor. The ease of driving is a major selling point, ensuring a stress-free commute that won’t strain your finances.
1.2L Turbo-Petrol (DI – Direct Injection): The direct injection variant offers a modest bump to 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque. However, Tata’s updated Nexon dashboard isn’t a bad place to start, and the Curvv improves upon it with slightly better material selection.
Design and Quality
The quality of materials is acceptable for a vehicle in this class, and the fit and finish appear to be par for the course on test cars. Tata has opted for soft-touch leatherette padding on the dashboard and door cards, which does help make the cabin feel more premium.
